Where should we stay?
We recommend booking a hotel or Airbnb near downtown Austin — there are tons of great options at all price points, especially on the east side or within a few miles outside of downtown to the north and south. It's super easy to get around by Uber, Lyft or scooters.
We’ll have shuttles to and from the welcome party in the Hill Country the day before. We’ll also be providing transportation from the ceremony to the reception on the wedding day, so you can relax and enjoy the ride.
Wherever you stay in Austin, you’ll be in a great spot to enjoy the city and can join the crew for the party!
Can we bring our kids?
We adore kiddos — truly! But to be able to invite as many friends and family possible, we're trying to limit kids to international family and the wedding party.
Can we bring our dogs?
If you live near Rainey or have a nearby sitter and would like to bring your pup - feel free! It will be in a park and they are welcome to join as long as they can be a good boy during the ceremony. Keep in mind we'll be transferring to the library immediately after the ceremony. All dogs are invited to join us Sunday morning for the casual taco breakfast hangout. 🐾
When should we RSVP by?
Please RSVP by June 1, 2025.
What is the Friday Welcome Party dress code?
Come in costume! It’s Halloween weekend, so we’re encouraging guests to get festive. Think fun, simple, classy, and most importantly - comfortable — just make sure you can sip wine and ride a shuttle in it. Bonus points for group costumes 🍷🎃
What is the Saturday Wedding Dress Code?
Black tie optional. Dress to impress! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, but a suit and tie or a cocktail dress are perfectly fine too. We'll be outdoors in a park at the ceremony (weather permitting), then heading downtown to the library for the reception — plan for elegance.
What is the Sunday Breakfast Tacos Dress Code?
Casual. Come as you are — sunglasses, sneakers, and stretchy pants are all acceptable. Tacos don’t judge.
Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?
The reception will be outdoors at the Rainey Street Trailhead Park, and the ceremony will be indoors at the Austin Central Library.
Do we need to rent a car?
If you’re staying in or near Downtown Austin, you won’t need to rent a car — it’s easy to get around by Uber, Lyft, or even pedicab. We’ll provide transportation to and from the Hill Country welcome party, and we're planning to arrange transportation from the ceremony to the reception.
That said, if you’d like a little more freedom to explore Austin’s neighborhoods, barbecue joints, or venture out of town on your own, you’re totally welcome to rent a car.
In short: no car needed, unless you're planning your own mini Texas adventure!
